Track: "With You" by Lil' Wayne featuring Drake.

Feel. Good. Music.

I really do love this track. (You can download it here!) Asher is a really dope MC (and he's a cutie but that long hair & 'stache is killin me lol). I can't wait to hear his new album though. The video is cool too, but I'm a sucka for black&white videos w/ a lil sprinkle of color visuals!  Also, anything inspirational is gonna brighten my day...check out "G.R.I.N.D." right here!

Another black&white video! Classic NellyMo....returns with a new single titled, "Just A Dream." This song has a very Over and Over Again vibe. I really like the track, the words are beautiful and the scenes in the video were pretty creative. I've been a Nelly fan since he came out and i was probably one of the few that liked his last album, "Brass Knuckles" LOL. But I hope he gets back to his level of success with this new album, 5.0, set to drop in November. "Just A Dream" has already cracked the top10 on the iTunes singles chart, so congrats to the St.Lunatic!

An Angel Returns!

Yesterday, I lost one of my classmates to senseless violence and cowardly crime. While it hurts me to know that a good young man is now gone, leaving his family and close love ones to grieve at his short-living, it also angers me that his life was taken away over.....nothing! Innocent victim, bright young man, great athlete, joyest personality, great friend, brother, son, grandson....returns to the Heavens to fulfill his duties with the Lord. We love you and miss you Randal Baker Jr. :-)

And if you have any ideas to why this young man's life was taken or most importantly Who was responsible PLEASE contact the Hawthorne Police Department!

Revolution30 made to be cool.

Before the NBA season kicks off next month (which I am so ready for!!) the league has decided to reveal their new player jerseys. Not much change to the appearance, except a few extra holes, but the Revolution30 line by Adidas is designed to keep the players cool...literally! Here are the details:
Designed and developed by Adidas, the uniforms are 30 percent lighter and dry twice as fast as previous NBA uniforms to help enhance player performance by keeping athletes cooler, drier and more comfortable on the court. All 30 NBA teams will wear the new uniforms beginning this season.

The new uniforms, which are made from 60 percent recycled materials, feature adidas' Formation technology, which reduces seams, decreases friction between the garment and the player's skin and optimizes the player's natural movement through specially constructed material. Adidas reduced uniform weight and increased player comfort by switching front and back numbers from heavier, dense materials to breathable mesh. The new uniform absorbs moisture in less than three seconds as a result of Adidas CLIMACOOL fabrics, which move heat and sweat away from the body through a combination of moisture management materials, ventilation channels, and three-dimensional garments, helping the uniform dry twice as fast.

So, there you have it! Sounds good, but I don't really care, I'm just ready for the 2010-2011 NBA Season to kickoff. ;-) However, if you're interested in getting some of the new authentic jerseys click here.

"Top Dog!"

LOL.....Woooooow!!! I found this Philadelphia Daily Newspaper to be quite funny. And of course, because people in this world are too rigorous about what's right and don't know how to laugh, this headline is causing some controversy. But the most important news out of all of this is the fact that Michael Vick was named the starting QB again by coach, Andy Reid. I'm glad that he's come to his senses; just a few post back I told you guys that Coach Reid stated that with the return of Kevin Kolb next week he will assume his original position as starting QB. But looks like I wasn't the only one who got chills watching Mike Vick out on the field again, dodging sacks....way to go Andy! ;-)

Listening to...

Track: "Jump Down" by Travis Barker featuring TheCoolKids.
This dope track is off of Travis Barker's upcoming solo album titled, "Give The Drummer Some." He revealed the name via twitter and the Hip-Hop heavy project will include contributions from: The Neptunes, The Transplants, Snoop, Eminem Drake, Chester from LinkinPark and many more! PFOP has this leaked track over at their marvelous site, click  here to check it out.

Superman Returns!

Michael Vick made his first start since 2006. Wearing his #7 Philly jersey, he showed people that he is still the same Mike Vick that thrilled the crowd while leading his team down the field. His Eagles beat the Lions 35-32, while his stats were: 21-34, 284Yards, & 2TDs. Now, many (included myself) have stated that he showed enough to earn him the starting gig for the rest of the season. However, coach Andy Reid is saying that he's staying with his struggling starter, Kevin Kolb, and he will return as Philly's starter next sunday when he recovers from his injury. Well, if Kolb continues to struggle I think coach Reid will have no choice but to start Mike Vick for the remainder of the year. This offseason, Vick only signed with Philly for a year so hopefully he gets his chance to start one day in the NFL again.

Kanye never one to Runaway

After his performance on the VMAs i quickly went out to go search for his new track, "Runaway." I believe Kanye is trying to right some of his wrongs, however, he is undoubtedly a little unbalanced! :-/ But in all honesty, that's most great artists and if you still refuse to respect his musical ability, then you just don't respect Hip-Hop. But to the rest, click here to listen and/or download the new track featuring Pusha-T from the Clipse.

Musical Vet.

Here is one more hot new video for you guys. Ne-Yo(along with Trey and John Legend)is definitely holding down the R&B game! I was obsessed with "Champagne Life" and now this is his new track entitled, "One In A Million."

Musical Sophomores

Here are two new videos by Jeremih and Jazmine Sullivan. Both artists are preparing to release their sophomore albums. I love Jeremih's "I Like" ft. Ludacris, it's a fun sexy song and Luda makes everything hotter. However, the Jazmine track, "Holding You Down (Goin' In Circles)" ft. Missy is just now growing on me....I really like the fun video though and her leading man is pretty nice to look at (even though he's the villain). Check 'em out!

Ray Lewis III

Football season has officially begun! And I know many of you football lovers saw Ray Lewis' Baltimore Ravens pulled off a close 10-9 victory over the NewYork Jets. And yes, RayRay was as dominant and hard-hitting as ever. However, he was outdone by none other than his son, Ray Lewis III.
His son, attending Lake Mary Prep, recorded an amazing 504-yard game! To break it down, Baby RayRay gained 206 total yards and two touchdowns on punt returns, 101 total yards on kickoff returns, 104 yards rushing, 27 yards receiving, and 66 yards passing, on a perfect 6-for-6 performance through the air. He is listed as RB and LB, but also plays QB from time to time, so umm yeah the kid is sick. What else should you expect from the offspring of the NFL's most dominate force and ultimate leader?

News from RocNation + RocaWear!

Ok, so yesterday I posted a link to Willow Smith's new single, "Whip My Hair." Well, today I got word that she has been signed to Jay-Z's RocNation Record Label. Here is video footage of the 9-year old announcing her signing on the Ryan Seacrest Show; and also check out what Jigga has to say about Willow's future. This girl has more swag than more grown women but still she's very cutesy.

And, speaking of theRoc....

Melanie Fiona and Trey Songz have been selected to appear in Rocawear's Fall 2010 "NEXT" Campaign. These two gorgeous and heavily talented artists were chosen to be the faces of the line's advertising project; which will be featured throughout the holidays in magazines such as VIBE and XXL. Their representatives stated that:
"Both Trey Songz and Melanie personify the Rocawear brand: Innovative, groundbreaking and ahead of the curve."
Well, since I absolutely love both recording artists, I definitely agree with their choices! Click here, to see more of their images taken for the new campaign.

New Music from JoJo!

I love this girl's voice. So, I was stoked to learn that there was brand new music from the artist. She just released an official mixtape only to the people at Rap-Up; titled, "Can't Take That Away From Me". JoJo has has been battling with her music label, Blackground Records, to release her third studio album. Well, looks like she finally got her voice heard because her upcoming album, "All I Want Is Everything," is set to be released early 2011. (fingers crossed!!) Kobe talks about Lebron and more...

Soooo, earlier today 5-Time Champ. and Los Angeles Lakers point guard, Derek Fisher, took over for Jim on his show Jim Rome Is Burning. Along with hosting the show, D.Fish brought his buddy and fellow 5-Time Champ., Kobe Bryant, to do an exclusive interview. Kobe talked about the comments that Boston Celtics head coach, Doc Rivers, said earlier this week, the "decision" that Lebron James made this off-season, and his status with the Lakers long term.
As THE number one Laker fan, I thought the video was rather cool and found it pretty funny how they tried to stay professional with their comments. :-) But you can see for yourself.

The Cool Kids - "Clicking"

The Cool Kids recorded the track, "Clicking," for Ken Block's Gymkhana3 and his DC team. Well now DC has released The Music Video Infomercial. I love the track (ofcourse, it's The Cool Kids duh!) but the video is pretty fresh too.

Download the track here. (Courtesy of PFOP)

I've been a fan of theirs since they first came out and from what I've heard lately, I'm pretty excited about their new sound.

This amazing 3yr. old girl saves her father with her heroic move. Watch the video to hear all of the details and to see how smart this little girl is.

Happy B-Day Kobeeeee!

Happy Birthday to the Greatest Laker of All-Time (and that's saying a lot if you check the Laker record books). Through all of the passed judgements thrown at him and of course all of the hate, the talent and will that he possess on the basketball court is undoubtedly second to NONE.

::Random Thought::

Sometimes creativity just hits you. You might see something inspiring, and it leads to a fun thought that gets your adrenaline pumping which enables your brain to get all of these marvelous ideas. Often times we just smile, let it all past and get distracted by something else far less productive. We might try to remember those wonderful thoughts but your mind just isn't in that exact mindset anymore. Creativity is an extraordinary art of life. It can solve huge problems, bring joy into your life and give you a since of pride. "Yep, I created that! Yeah, I thought of that too." But we have to bring these ideas that God may bless us with that very moment. Put action into those thoughts. Creativity lives on! Get inspired, be original and be productive, and you may one day be a visionary of something great! ;-)

T-Mac Confident In His Ability To Comeback Strong.

Tracy McGrady sat down to talk about his injuries, his ability to make a successful return and why he chose the Detroit Pistons. I wish T-Mac nothing but the best. Before all of the injuries, he was one of the greatest scorers in the league.
I mean c'mon, 13 points in 35 seconds!!!??!!

The King of the South..rules the Big Apple too?

"The King is Back." T.I. rocks a surprise show in NY, sponsored by Axe deodorant body spray. The show was Tip's first live performance since being released from prison, so you know he had to do it big in the Big Apple. He brought out a full live band and invited several of his fellow musician friends. Mary J. Blige, B.o.B., Swizz Beatz, Maino, Cam'Ron and Vado all came through to perform with the King. Sounds like the show was incredible! And im glad to see Tip back out there doing what he do best, putting on an amazing show!

Halle's grounded L.A. Life

Halle Berry graces the cover of Vogue's latest issue. She gives the magazine her first interview in 3 years. One in which she said she couldn't past up. As a woman of color, to be gracing the cover of Vogue is an extraodinary feat. She becomes the first black woman to appear on Vogue's September Issue since 1989 (Naomi Campbell). The September issue is the most important cover of Fashion magazines' most important month of the year, may I remind you. Halle sports a sophisticated bob hairstyle, and rocks every photo. Inside, she opens up about misconceptions about her, her breakup with Gabriel Aubry, and the love of her life, her daughter, Nahla.

The making of Linkin Park's "The Catalyst" music video!

Sooo, today i am pretty excited because i found out that Linkin Park's music video for their new single, "Catalyst" will premiere on Aug. 26th! Now i love this band because not only are they great musicians but they live for creativity. They continuously explore new ideas and unique concepts. And the "Catalyst" video will be another product of their creative minds. Directed by Linkin Park's DJ, Joe Hahn, (who also directed the band's "In The End" and "Somewhere I Belong" videos) the new video is bound to be full of energy and inventiveness.
The single is off of their upcoming album titled, A Thousand Suns, which is set to release on Sept. 14th! Linkin Park's bassist, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell talked to MTV.News about the creative process behind the band's latest project:
"For this record, I think we were able to be in front of the curve for a lot of things. We were working on art, and we've been working on it nonstop, because we really wanted to incorporate it in everything," Farrell said. "And in the case of the album cover, we released it in little pieces, gradually constructing it out of nothing, and fans were seeing all kinds of stuff, they saw people's faces and everything ... none of that was intentionally there."

Pretty POWERful

Look what i found. That's a lot of fire power in one studio. Kobe, Kanye, Swizzy and MosDef. Ooooh yeah lol.

Listening to...

mixtape: "Dat Kid From Cleveland" by KiD CuDi

Material Girl

Well it's here. THE ultimate material girl herself (Madonna) has released a new clothing line. With the help of her styling daughter, Lourdes, the line is heavily inspired by Madonna's trendsetting style of the 80s mixed with style of today. And, look who they chose to be the face of the line.

Be Inspired...

Recently, Pharrell Williams and Diggy Simmons held a conference for P's new leadership group called, K!dult. I found the video to be very inspiring. It's always awesome listening to P.
