Kobe talks about Lebron and more...

Soooo, earlier today 5-Time Champ. and Los Angeles Lakers point guard, Derek Fisher, took over for Jim on his show Jim Rome Is Burning. Along with hosting the show, D.Fish brought his buddy and fellow 5-Time Champ., Kobe Bryant, to do an exclusive interview. Kobe talked about the comments that Boston Celtics head coach, Doc Rivers, said earlier this week, the "decision" that Lebron James made this off-season, and his status with the Lakers long term.
As THE number one Laker fan, I thought the video was rather cool and found it pretty funny how they tried to stay professional with their comments. :-) But you can see for yourself.

The Cool Kids - "Clicking"

The Cool Kids recorded the track, "Clicking," for Ken Block's Gymkhana3 and his DC team. Well now DC has released The Music Video Infomercial. I love the track (ofcourse, it's The Cool Kids duh!) but the video is pretty fresh too.

Download the track here. (Courtesy of PFOP)

And now the wait is over. The official visuals for Linkin Park's new single, "Catalyst" is finally here! I've been waiting to see this music video for awhile and you can check a few posts back how excited I was to see what they came up with this time around. I've been a fan of theirs since they first came out and from what I've heard lately, I'm pretty excited about their new sound.

Quick Thinking 3yr Old Hero!

This amazing 3yr. old girl saves her father with her heroic move. Watch the video to hear all of the details and to see how smart this little girl is.

Happy B-Day Kobeeeee!

Happy Birthday to the Greatest Laker of All-Time (and that's saying a lot if you check the Laker record books). Through all of the passed judgements thrown at him and of course all of the hate, the talent and will that he possess on the basketball court is undoubtedly second to NONE.

::Random Thought::

Sometimes creativity just hits you. You might see something inspiring, and it leads to a fun thought that gets your adrenaline pumping which enables your brain to get all of these marvelous ideas. Often times we just smile, let it all past and get distracted by something else far less productive. We might try to remember those wonderful thoughts but your mind just isn't in that exact mindset anymore. Creativity is an extraordinary art of life. It can solve huge problems, bring joy into your life and give you a since of pride. "Yep, I created that! Yeah, I thought of that too." But we have to bring these ideas that God may bless us with that very moment. Put action into those thoughts. Creativity lives on! Get inspired, be original and be productive, and you may one day be a visionary of something great! ;-)

T-Mac Confident In His Ability To Comeback Strong.

Tracy McGrady sat down to talk about his injuries, his ability to make a successful return and why he chose the Detroit Pistons. I wish T-Mac nothing but the best. Before all of the injuries, he was one of the greatest scorers in the league.
I mean c'mon, 13 points in 35 seconds!!!??!!

The King of the South..rules the Big Apple too?

"The King is Back." T.I. rocks a surprise show in NY, sponsored by Axe deodorant body spray. The show was Tip's first live performance since being released from prison, so you know he had to do it big in the Big Apple. He brought out a full live band and invited several of his fellow musician friends. Mary J. Blige, B.o.B., Swizz Beatz, Maino, Cam'Ron and Vado all came through to perform with the King. Sounds like the show was incredible! And im glad to see Tip back out there doing what he do best, putting on an amazing show!

Halle's grounded L.A. Life

Halle Berry graces the cover of Vogue's latest issue. She gives the magazine her first interview in 3 years. One in which she said she couldn't past up. As a woman of color, to be gracing the cover of Vogue is an extraodinary feat. She becomes the first black woman to appear on Vogue's September Issue since 1989 (Naomi Campbell). The September issue is the most important cover of Fashion magazines' most important month of the year, may I remind you. Halle sports a sophisticated bob hairstyle, and rocks every photo. Inside, she opens up about misconceptions about her, her breakup with Gabriel Aubry, and the love of her life, her daughter, Nahla.

The making of Linkin Park's "The Catalyst" music video!

Sooo, today i am pretty excited because i found out that Linkin Park's music video for their new single, "Catalyst" will premiere on Aug. 26th! Now i love this band because not only are they great musicians but they live for creativity. They continuously explore new ideas and unique concepts. And the "Catalyst" video will be another product of their creative minds. Directed by Linkin Park's DJ, Joe Hahn, (who also directed the band's "In The End" and "Somewhere I Belong" videos) the new video is bound to be full of energy and inventiveness.
The single is off of their upcoming album titled, A Thousand Suns, which is set to release on Sept. 14th! Linkin Park's bassist, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell talked to MTV.News about the creative process behind the band's latest project:
"For this record, I think we were able to be in front of the curve for a lot of things. We were working on art, and we've been working on it nonstop, because we really wanted to incorporate it in everything," Farrell said. "And in the case of the album cover, we released it in little pieces, gradually constructing it out of nothing, and fans were seeing all kinds of stuff, they saw people's faces and everything ... none of that was intentionally there."

Pretty POWERful

Look what i found. That's a lot of fire power in one studio. Kobe, Kanye, Swizzy and MosDef. Ooooh yeah lol.

Listening to...

mixtape: "Dat Kid From Cleveland" by KiD CuDi

Material Girl

Well it's here. THE ultimate material girl herself (Madonna) has released a new clothing line. With the help of her styling daughter, Lourdes, the line is heavily inspired by Madonna's trendsetting style of the 80s mixed with style of today. And, look who they chose to be the face of the line.

Be Inspired...

Recently, Pharrell Williams and Diggy Simmons held a conference for P's new leadership group called, K!dult. I found the video to be very inspiring. It's always awesome listening to P.
